I guess your comment is in response to "Give the Dead a Vote." I've enjoyed Richard Foster's work for several years. His upholding the spiritual disciplines of past ages reminds me that I don't have to make up my own ways of approaching God, ex nihilo! Thanks for the comment, Holly.
